  4. Limited two CD edition of this release from the British Rock quartet containing a bonus disc containing seven live acoustic tracks: 'Listen Up', 'Tell Me It's Not Over', 'All the Plans', 'Merry Go Round', 'The Thames', 'Change My Mind' and 'Stars And Stripes'. All the Plans, recorded with producer Steven Osbourne, sounds like an album from a band that is finally coming of age/5(34).
  5. Starsailor had problems in making the choirs, because are not better than the verses. It is an interesting melody but it does not manage to captivate, however the sound and the production in blues improves when Walsh is not singing. Its a confusing sound: country, folk, rock. Some parts are brilliant, some others are boring. Change my mind.
  6. Apr 15,  · A more mature sound, and, as always, great singing. My favorites are the title track and Hurts Too Much, which just has so much resonance. Well done, Starsailor. (I actually bought the album from the UK two months ago, I couldn't wait.) Get this, and then click to Doves and get Kingdom of Rust. Two of the best albums of the year.
  7. Eight years ago, Starsailor picked up 'Brightest New Hope' - and now they're stepping back into the spotlight with cracking new fourth album. The band say the disc - on which they reunite with Steve Osbourne, who produced their debut - is the result of all the good and bad experiences since /5(47).
  8. However on All The Plans Starsailor does have more of an acoustic/folk/pop feeling throughout most songs but the highlight of this album is "Tell me its not over" which sounds like a coldplay/keane/oasis collaboration and along with "Hurts too much" is another highlight on this album. Overall All the plans could have been a much better album it /5(34).
